Meat Attack: Special Menu for Meatlovers at Son Brull
Hotel Son Brull is very excited to be part of the first “Meat Attack” days in Mallorca. Set up and organized by La Finca de Jimenéz Barbero with their first-class Meat of Happiness we joined this fun gastronomic initiative.
Until June 12 you can try the exclusive Meat Attack menu, elaborated by our chef Rafel Perelló, in our 3|65 restaurant.
Our 3|65 restaurant of the Hotel Son Brull is part of the Slow Food movement as we already told you about in this blog post.
This season we are growing a variety of produce in our gardens: lettuce, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes (4 different types) and they are already beginning to sprout.
The products used by our chef Rafel Perelló come from our own gardens or small local farmers with organic produce.
As you can see, we have selected only the best ingredients to prepare the menu that is participating in the Meat Attack:
The main protagonist is the “Meat of Happiness” by La Finca de Jiménez Barbero.
This special meat comes from calves, cows and oxen raised in a unique and innovative way in the Sierra Oeste of Madrid.
Jiménez Barbero’s philosophy of cattle farming is based on the idea that “happy animals mean happy customers”.
La Finca carefully supervises the process from the birth of an animal to the point where it leaves the kitchen. In combination with the distinct climate of the area, it gives the product unique organoleptic properties.
By making quality their priority, regardless of time and effort, La Finca prioritizes the rigorous quality controls and consumers’ satisfaction.
La Finca’s philosophy is the perfect example for a sustainable and responsible exploitation of beef focusing on a healthy and high quality product.
We share this fun food event which is taking place in Mallorca for the first time, even though it is the third edition of the Meat Attack, with 9 other restaurants in Mallorca.
La Finca is giving away a visit to their facilities in Colmenar del Arroyo for 2 people among everyone that tries the #MeatAttack dishes in one of the participating restaurants. They will show you around and let you in on how they breed and treat the animals and invite you to a tasting menu at La Estancia, their restaurant. All you need to do to participate is follow @carnedelafinca and post a photo with hashtag #MeatAttackPalma. The prize also includes transfers and accommodation with an estimated value of 300 €.
