There are more than 200 beaches to choose from in Mallorca, ranging from white, sandy beaches with water activities and bars to secluded pebble coves.

And while your enjoy your stay at our bouitque hotel we are more than happy to give away our 5 favorite beaches in the north of the island which are only a couple km away from Hotel Son Brull & Spa:

  • Playa de Puerto Pollença: this beach is located about 10km away from Son Brull. Its white sand and turquoise water will make you forget about stress and your daily rutine and offer a perfect spot to relax and connect with yourself. It’s also perfect for practicing water sports.
  • Cala San Vicente: in spite of being one of the smallest coves on the island, its water is inhabited by a wide range of species which makes Cala Sant Vicente one of the most popular spots for practicing scuba diving and snorkelling. You’ll find Cala San Vicente only 10 km away from Hotel Son Brull.
  • Playa de Alcudia: only 20 minutes away from our hotel, you’ll find this Golden sand beach to sink your toes into the sand and take a relaxing walk while listening to the waves hitting the shore. On this beach the decission is yours: would you rather practice some water sports, have a relaxed picnic on the beach or take a bath?
  • Playa de Muro: about 20 minutes separate Son Brull from the well-known ‘Platja de Muro’. Its green, blue and turquoise water recalls the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. With over 6 km of white sand you’ll definitely feel like never wanting to go home.
  • Playa de Formentor: surrounded by stunnning nature and with idylic views, you will be able to enjoy your holidays under the shade of the pine trees while starring at the blue Mediterranean. This beach is about 19 km away from Son Brull and is definitely worth an afternoon of your holiday schedule.
  • And our secret – and exclusive- insider tip is, without a doubt, the hidden cove El Caló. Finding it requires some walking (about 4 kilometers) but every step of it is worth it once you have reached your destination. This virgin beach is mainly gravel and big pebbles but you will find a comfortable spot to enjoy the stunning views over the Mediterranean. Park your car at the aero naval base close to Pollença and follow the wall next to the road. Our staff will let you in on the details how to find this secluded virgin beach in Mallorca’s north.

You are well prepared now. All you need to do is bring your bathing suit – your beach bag and straw hat are already waiting for you in your room at Hotel Son Brull in Pollença. Have a wonderful time enjoying Mallorca’s beaches this summer!
