Top 3 viewpoints in Mallorca

By sea, land or from the air, Mallorca offers an impressive natural beauty that made this island one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. From Hotel Son Brull we would like to recommend you to visit three magical spots, three viewpoints that offer an incredible perspective of one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

The road that leads to Sa Calobra cove is, without a doubt, one of the most unique roads in Mallorca. This highway has numerous curves, one of them known as the ‘tie knot’, as it is actually a 360º curve. On the way you will drive from the highest point of the Tramuntana mountain range down to the sea, specifically to the cove located in between two cliffs. This highway can be accessed from Sóller or Lluc and if you let us recommend you something, it would be to stop right before the highway goes through two high rocks, because it’s there where you will fin done of the most stunning viewpoints on the island.

From there you will be able to see the rounded mountain of Son Termes and Ses Estepes and the beautiful cove of Sa Calobra. Once you get to the cove, take a relaxing bath in the crystal clear turquoise water and enjoy this unique Mediterranean landscape.

Sa Calobra

The second viewpoint in Mallorca we would like to recommend everyone visiting this beautiful island is the one known as Sa Creueta or Colomer. You will find it at the Formentor peninsula and can access it by a narrow curvy highway starting from Port de Sóller.

Sa Creueta

Sa Creueta

This natural viewpoint is actually an over 200m high rock that offers one of the most beautiful views of the sunset in Mallorca, combining land, sea and the Colomer island as backdrop. If you continue your way on the highway you will discover more than one hidden cove and at the end of the highway you will be able to access Cap de Formentor.

Es Colomer

Es Colomer

And this takes us to our third and final recommended viewpoint in Mallorca. Cap de Formentor is a magical place where the highest point of the Tramuntana mountain range meets the deep blue sea. Even though the lighthouse is closed to the public, from this point you will have one of the most spectacular views of Mallorca.
