Weekly market in Pollensa

Pollensa is a Majorcan town located only 7 minutes away by car from Son Brull Boutique Hotel & Spa. Located at the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana, just between two hills, Pollensa is a faithful representation of the Majorcan villages of the past. One of the things that stands out in Pollensa is the feeling of visiting a town that seems to have stopped in time.

Despite being a must-visit for tourists, Pollensa manages to maintain that authenticity and tranquility that has been characterizing it for centuries. Among the landmarks worth a visit in Pollensa there is the Roman bridge or ‘pont romà’ which in addition to remain in perfect condition, is still used daily by pedestrians in the area; Another worth-a-visit landmkar is Puig de Pollensa, a hill where you will find monastery at the top, another interesting stop of this charming town from where you will be able to see Son Brull.

The Calvari of Pollensa, which is reached by going up 365 steps, is another of the musts, as is Teixtis Vicens, a shop where tradition and modernity go hand in hand on the beautiful designes of ‘robes of llengües’ that you will find in Can Berenguer, between the crossing of Pollensa and Port Pollensa.

But, without a doubt, one of the main attractions of the village and which we recommend visiting at least once during your stay in Son Brull, is the weekly market.
