The farmTradition and ecological farming

The Finca de Son Brull occupies 32 hectares in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, at the foot of the Puig de Maria with the emblematic terraces (marges) of centenary olive trees. In the valley of fertile lands, there are citrus groves, fig trees, fruit trees, an orchard and organic vineyards. Beehives and laying hens also have their space.

Recalling its monastic past, the Son Brull farm is based on ecological and local principles. Everything we produce is consumed at Son Brull.

The farm

Vineyard

Three hectares of vineyard with local varieties: Callet, Gorgollassa, Giró Ros, Prensal Blanc, Escursach and Ull de llebre with which we make Son Brull wines.

Olive grove

The centennial olive trees, living sculptures of the Mallorcan variety whose fruit we use as table olives, coexist with young olive trees of the Arbequina and Picual varieties with which we make Son Brull oil.

Vegetable garden

Vegetable garden

We grow autochthonous varieties of vegetables and fruits, actively collaborating with the Associació de Varietats locals de Mallorca in the conservation of our biocultural heritage.

Citrus

Oranges ripened on the tree to offer the best juice for breakfast and to make jam. Lemons for the delicious Son Brull lemonade. With the citrus peels, we aromatize the Gin and the Son Brull Elixir.

Bees

We ensure the well-being of our bees and convey their importance for the biodiversity on which we all depend. They give us two harvests of honey in spring and autumn to enjoy in Son Brull.

Laying hens

Raised with space and care to provide us with the best fresh eggs for breakfast.

Donkeys

The inexhaustible and insatiable Siona and Masiana keep our fields free of weeds.
